In The Community... Parades
The Midwest Rampage football team participated in several parades in 2010. First, the team had a float in the town of Williams' Independence Day parade on July 5th to help celebrate the Fourth of July. As well, the Rampage also participated in the Hamilton County Fair Parade which took place in Webster City on Tuesday, July 20th. In both parades, about 30 members of the Midwest Rampage including their families threw out candy and gave away various Rampage-related accessories such as team posters, removable stickers, and koozies. In all, participating in both parades was fun both the team the people of Williams and Hamilton County.
In 2011, the Rampage again participated in the Hamilton County Fair Parade with 35 team members--many whom brought their families along--and again threw out candy and gave away posters, tee shirts, and accessories.
